Breathe in the Crisp, Fresh Air

We take pride in providing our citizens and visitors with parks for recreational use. Our outdoor areas are perfect for sports events, concerts, and movie showings. Additionally, we also have walking trails and hiking routes. Cycling is a growing sport in our city, too!

There’s never a dull day in our city because we have community volunteer groups that sponsor numerous street festivals, music gatherings, and farmers’ markets. They have also collaborated with our city to develop a Greenway System and Linear Park that includes trails along the Catawba River and Lake Wylie.
